Registration Categories

Medical doctor

Includes all healthcare professionals as ophthalmologists, optometrists, practice managers, PhDs, MBAs, healthcare administrators. In special cases and upon request documentation is required for this registration type (for example work ID or letter from your employer or hospital).

Resident

Available to all trainees / residents. A letter of verification from department chairperson or clinical supervisor is required at the time of registration, as well as a photo ID and proof of date of birth.

Young Swiss Ophthalmologists

Available to all members of the Young Member Organisation of the SOG. Confirmation of membership of the YSO from the Swiss Society of Ophthalmology is required.

Corporate

Available to commercial representatives and corporate personnel who have a legitimate educational or business reason for attending. The fee only legitimises participation in the congress, not the promotion of the company or products. Employees of exhibiting companies are not required to pay this fee, if agreed in the sponsorship contract, and must register through the congress organisation.
